Tile Kilns: 1871 census for the workers' cottages

This page shows an extract from the 1871 census.  The green blocks show the separate households in the workers' cottages, now known as "The Potteries, Green Lanes, Tottenham" rather than the "Tile Kilns". There are no names or numbers to the cottages. The Cole family in this census is not the branch that later set up the potteries in White Hart Lane, Tottenham. John Cole and his family are missing. So too is the Pettit family.

For a burial record for anyone on this page, it is worth trying Abney Park Cemetery in the nearby Stoke Newington.
