We have to rely on local parish records to show when members of the wider Cole family were at the Tile Kilns before central registration in 1837. All but the first of the following records are courtesy of Bruce Bennett and come from the original records rather than the IGI. These - somewhat haphazardly - give personal details such as occupations and addresses, and they show that Coles were at the Tile Kilns as early as 1808. |
