Descendants of Daniel Cole, potter and brickmaker (c1772-1840)

The key early Cole descendants of Daniel Cole, the founder of the Cole pottery business, have their own pages with brief bibliographies and links to further information: Thomas Cole (c1794 - ?); Catherine Cole (1802-1865); Sarah Cole (1802-1866); John Cole (1807-1897); Mary Ann Cole (1835-1927); Daniel James Cole (1838-1912); Anne Cole (1843-?); Martha Maria Cole (1847-1923); Catherine Frances Cole (c1850-1917); Edward George Cole I (1853-1920); James Reedman Cole (1857-1936); Herbert James Claud Cole (1881-1941); Edith Elizabeth Cole (1883-1972); Mary May Cole (1886-1967) and Ethel Maud Cole (1888-1966). Daniel Cole himself (c1772-1840) also has his own page. They all spent at least some of their lives in the Tottenham area, at one or other of the Green Lanes or the White Hart Lane site. Additionally is a page on Charles Cole, brickmaker of Islington, who I suspect has similar ancestry.

The following tree shows how these individuals (listed in red) fit into Daniel's descendancy chart. Information on the families that they married into and some of their descendants is available via the links on the home page or the search facility there.

Information on who came, or might have come, before Daniel and how we know what we do is available on the research page.
